1991 honda trx250x

*First off let’s not waste each other’s time; what you are about to read is everything I know about this machine: 1991 Honda TRX250X 4-stroke.
-Barn found resurrection.
-2wd(rwd).
-5speed MANUAL Transmission -All fwd gears work great.
-Reverse Linkages were missing when purchased so I cannot verify that it works, but I have a feeling it does.
-DG full exhaust system (she barks for a 250) not perfect: has some scuffs.
-Appears to be a DG front bumper.
-New FRONT: 6ply tubeless Astroay EOS AT22x7-10 33F tires on stock rims (still has tire “hairs”).
-New REAR: 4ply tubeless Ocelot AT22x11.00-8 ATX63 43J A/T Master tires (still has tire “hairs”).
-REAR rims appear to be Douglas Wheels.
-ONE REAR USED 2ply tubeless Mud-Buster 22x11.00-8 tire included.
-Plastics are scuffed up & appear better in pics than up close (rear fenders have zip-tie stitches).
-New Blue 250x seat cover (have a worn Ceet Blue Fourtrax seat cover included).
-Seat foam is not perfect under the cover, but patched up to be comfortable to use.
-Pro-Taper Pillow Top Black/Grey/White grips.
-Moose Racing Red Handlebars.
-Clutch lever from an old snowmobile.
-Pro Armor tether switch & cord w/carabiner clip.
-New off brand front shocks.
-New Rick’s Motorsports ECU.
-New oiled air filter w/new mesh core.
-New Spark Plug.
-Homemade steel heel guards (not perfect by any means, but better than nothing).
-New rear brake disc.
-New rear brake fluid reservoir & Dot 4 fluid.
-New rear brake caliper, pads, & mount.
-New atv oil: Motul ATV/UTV Expert 4T 10w-40.
-New oil filter…k&n if my memory serves me right/top brand atleast if I’m wrong.
-No rust in the fuel tank!
-New fuel petco*ck gasket.
-New fuel tank to petco*ck s-style hose.
-Rear light from on old snowmobile.
-THIS MODEL DOESN'T COME WITH BRAKE LIGHT, ONLY RUNNING LIGHT.
-Both hi/low, & rear running light work.
-Chain appears to be good.
-Has newer year trx250 tool box & full tool kit on it.
-Has some new lug nuts.
-Rear bumper appears to have been patched up prior to my owning.
-Rear shock seems stiff after sitting, but seems to free up; should replace/rebuild.
-Has a TIG welded patch on the case by the chain (must’ve snapped a chain at some point before I got it), but has a pinhole leak yet there, so I removed the old jb-weld patch, cleaned thoroughly, & put new JB-Weld over the area & it has been holding fine (SEE PICTURES FOR TIG PATCH).
-New RH-front fender support bracket (was missing when I got it thus the minor melting of fender edge).
-New throttle cable.
-Stabil in the fuel; went through the carb when I got it)…Fires up after a few kicks cold, & typically first kick when warm…This engine is healthy from what I can tell.
***Must have valid drivers license to prove identity when purchasing as I will provide mine as well. You must renew registration into your name as it’s only valid now under my ownership.***

This atv was barn found from a buddy of my dad’s who used it as a kid, & I got it going again. The only reason I am selling it is the closest place to ride is 1.5hrs away, so it’s not ideal to keep it as it should be used by someone who can make more use of it. She’s too nice to be sitting around. The only thing I would consider trading for is a 1998 Polaris xc/rmk 600/700 (non-ves), or a 2006 Polaris 900cfi that runs, has a good track, & is provable to be yours for signing over bill of sale; aside from those trades don’t bother wasting either of our time, Thank you.
