The admissions committee’s goal is to form a diverse class and to do so it also looks at your age and the number of years of work experience. Therefore, while researching your target business schools, it’s important that you look at these numbers to assess how you stand in comparison to the latest class profile. The average age of the incoming class of 2018 in top US business schools was 28 years and the average work experience was 5 years. As you go through the below table, you’ll see that average age and work experience is pretty much the same across all the US business schools except Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia.
