This is an example of Ayaka’s Permafrost Team #6, which relies solely on the energy particles generated by each character’s elemental skill. In actual combat, there are more ways to obtain energy particles, and other characters’ elemental skills will usually provide energy particles for Ayaka to collect (commonly referred to as “particle swapping”). Ayaka’s energy regeneration efficiency attribute required for the team’s cycle will only be lower than the theoretical value.
Shenhe may need an energy regeneration efficiency higher than the theoretical value to ensure the cycle as she needs to provide energy particles to Ayaka with her elemental skill. This theoretical calculation is based on the principles of elemental energy and character data in the Elemental Energy Studies section. When Cryo characters obtain Cryo elemental particles, they are obtaining particles of the same element, while obtaining Hydro/Pyro/Anemo/Electro/Geo elemental particles is obtaining particles of a different element.
Assumptions:
- Ignore the probability of characters obtaining a small amount of elemental energy after normal attacks, ignore the gradual reduction of monster’s health due to being attacked, and ignore elemental particles/orbs dropped by monsters after being defeated.
- In each cycle, Kokomi only uses her elemental skill once, while the other three characters each use their elemental skill twice per cycle.
- Except for the Hydro elemental particles generated by Kokomi’s elemental skill “Oath of the Ocean,” which Ayaka can collect, other characters will only obtain elemental particles generated by their own elemental skills. Therefore, there is no “particle swapping” situation.
- The probability of obtaining elemental particles from a character’s elemental skill is variable. Take the average value of the number of elemental particles generated by two uses of the elemental skill. For example, Ayaka’s elemental skill “Kamisato Art: Hyouka” has a 50% chance to generate 4 Cryo elemental particles and a 50% chance to generate 5 Cryo elemental particles. Therefore, it is assumed that Ayaka generates a total of 9 Cryo elemental particles from two uses of her elemental skill in each cycle.
- Shenhe is equipped with a fully refined Summit Shaper spear, and it is assumed that every use of her elemental skill “Summoning of Shattered Souls” will trigger a critical hit, causing the Summit Shaper’s weapon effect to generate elemental particles of no element (visually represented as white elemental particles).
Event | Ayaka | Shenhe | Kazuha | Kokomi | Energy Obtained per Particle (Element/Color) |
