How to access confessor dungeons? ›

Confessor Dungeons become accessible when a Statue of Confessor is destroyed. The portal they leave behind can only be interacted with the Weight of True Guilt equipped. To get this item, equip the Immaculate Bead until it is engulfed in guilt after a few deaths.

The statues can be destroyed and a portal appears in their place to a mini-dungeon with waves of enemies. Defeat the enemies to receive Tears of Atonement and evolve the Thorn. Requires Weight of True Guilt to enter after destroying the statues.

Guilt is represented in the game by thorned vines entangled at the end of the Fervour indicator. Going back to the location where the Penitent One died and recovering the Guilt Fragment left behind (pictured). Using Statues of Confessors will expiate all Guilt, in exchange for Tears of Atonement.
