    Draw a large oval for the head. Make sure you add in guidelines in the center of the oval for the eyes and nose: they are very helpful to draw the facial features. They should cross as seen, so you can use them in the next step when you add those features.

    Sketch in two ovals for the eyes. Between and below them, draw another small oval for her nose.

    Shading helps give a picture a feeling of realism, making the shadows darker and the highlights lighter. Hello Kitty's fur is white, so the shadows on her fur would be a darker version of that - grey!
