This 70-minute journey beneath the city of Louisville melds the thrill of discovery with a thirst of knowledge about the unique cavern system that exists under a large urban center. With 17 miles of underground corridors, the Louisville Mega Cavern is a man-made cavern fit for exploration at all times of the year. This walking tour intentionally leaves groups small, with a maximum size of 13 guests. We’ve found that this cap on participants leads to a more engaging and personalized walking experience. If you sign up for this tour, be prepared to walk 1.8 miles in total. We promise that this hike won’t be like anything else you’ve experienced.
