But lets be real though, even Tyrod Taylor was running for his life today. It's hard to imagine spending as many draft picks as we've had on OL talent and still having one of the worst OLs in the league. Yes, Andrew Thomas is out but everyone else isn't doing well.

You don’t have to use a high first round pick to build a line .
None of the giants 4 title teams did, you don’t need 5 all pros .
They have an all pro lt , Schmitz should be solid , move neal to guard , sign or draft a rt in the second round or free agency .

We found out this season that Schoen did a poor job of building depth on the offensive line. For all we know, the starting five were solid but unfortunately Thomas got injured on the first series of the first game. Schmitz got injured in the second or third game and missed time. Neal has struggled again in his second season but has also missed time with an injury. Glowinski is subpar as a starter. Bredeson is solid but often injured. The linemen behind those starting five were so bad that the Giants had to bring back Tyre Phillips from the Eagles (though I said at the time that cutting him was a big mistake) and sign Justin Pugh off the couch. They've also brought in other castoffs from other teams' practice squads for depth. Joe Schoen, and the coaching staff, did a terrible job evaluating these guys and deciding on who made the roster.

That's my exact worst fear. We'll win just enough games to miss on an impact player and be stuck in the mud of mediocrity for years to come.

There's no point in winning 6-7 games. None. This team is a failure, and needs to be built from the ground up, especially on offense. This offense has NOTHING. No playmakers, no QB, no OL. Don't tell me LT, because he ain't done nothing all year. We have NOTHING.

The Giants have a league-low $947,513 in salary cap space as of Thursday, according to the NFLPA. The Giants entered the season with $3.8 million in cap space after restructuring the contracts of defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence, linebacker Bobby Okereke and kicker Graham Gano. But the cost of replacements for players on injured reserve — the Giants have placed five players on IR in the past two weeks — has eaten into that cushion.
Unless the Giants make a trade to create cap savings by Tuesday’s deadline, another contract restructure will be inevitable to make it through the season. (Adoree’) Jackson and defensive tackle Leonard Williams are the obvious sources of potential cap relief, either via trade or restructure.

Q- HOW CAN YOU BE THE WORST TEAM AND THE TEAM WITH THE MOST CAP TROUBLE AND LEAST AMOUNT OF CASH.

2018:Mayfield, Darnold, Josh Allen, Josh Rosen, L Jax...............good draft.....with the exception of the Rosen fiasco
2019: K Murray, D Jones, D Haskins, (Drew Lock in the 2nd round)..............meh
2020: Burrow, Tua, J Herbert, J Love (J Hurts in the 2nd round....dammit) - This draft was a home run for QBs with the exception of Love
2021: T Lawrence, Z Wilson, Trey Lance, Justin Fields, Mac Jones..........meh
2022: no 1st round QBs.......
2023: Bryce Young, CJ Stroud, Anthony Richardson.......obviously early to tell.

Clearly, every year is its own draft and talent can vary. People always are enamored with the shiny new toys.

This Giants roster...........this offseason, the OL somehow needs to be a priority. I mean......nobody has figured it out the last 10 years, so it's hard to get excited about our Personnel Team figuring it out......but that's our problem. Yeah.....QB is a problem too......but you will have a QB problem if you have a persistent OL problem.

This is one of those drafts I wouldn't be against trading our Top 5 pick if we get it. But we are a ways from there.......we'll see how all of this shakes out.
