OBITUARIES Zelma Carrey Phoebe Greenhagen Services for Zelma M. Carrey, 83, of 404 W. Drive, Campbells Island, East Moline, are 2 p.m. Tuesday at DeRoo Funeral Home, Moline. Burial is in National Cemetery, Arsenal Island.

Visitation is 6 to 8 tonight. Mrs. Carrey died Saturday, Nov. 20, 1993, at Illini Hospital, Silvis. The former Zelma Spitznogle was born Nov.

16, 1910, in Muscatine, the daughter of Orson and Rosabelle Hesser Spitznogle. She married Robert Carrey Nov. 19, 1959. She enjoyed playing euchre, bingo, crocheting and antique collecting. Survivors include the widower; daughters, Janet Burke, Grannis, and DeAnna DeBlieck, Moline; sons, George McLeary and Michael Fix, both of Moline; 23 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

MOLINE Madelyn Baker Madelyn F. Baker, 88, Moline Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, formerly of Rock Island, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 1993, at the center. Services are 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Rock Island, where she was a member.

Burial is in Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island. Visitation is noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Wheelan Funeral Home, Rock Island. The former Madelyn Nigra was born Nov. 26, 1904, in Brooklyn, the daughter of Modesto and Lucy Veronda Nigra.

She married Harry Baker July 13, 1940, in Rock Island. He died Dec. 25, 1969. She was employed as a department manager at the former Rothchild's department store, Rock Island, for eight years. She was previously employed at the former Block and Kuhl department stores in Moline and Rock Island for 13 years.

She was a member of Ladies Sodality. Survivors include nieces, Marilyn Fields and Beverly Kerker, both of Rock Island, Joanne Sharp, Milan, and Lucille Elberts, Coal City, nephews, Dr. Lawrence Huber, Davenport, Edward Sutterman and Joseph Veronda, both of Rock Island, Robert Huber, Cedarburg, and Harold and Richard Veronda, both of Kankakee; 41 great-nieces and great-nephews; and several great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews; and a brother-in-law, LaVerne Bensch, Thomson. The former Anna Jones was born April 20, 1933, in Andalusia. the daughter of John and Mildred Tompkins Jones. She married Charles Troxel in 1952 in Andalusia. She was a member of Andalusia Community Baptist Church. Survivors include the widower; a brother and sister-in-law, Earl and Bonnie Jones, Andalusia; and two nieces.

SILVIS Anna 'Lee' Troxel Jasper Mink Jasper N. Mink, 88, Silvis, died Saturday, Nov. 20, 1993, at Illini Hospital, Silvis. Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home, Columbus Junction, Iowa.

Burial is in Winfield-Scott Cemetery, Winfield, Iowa. Visitation is 10 a.m. until service time. A memorial fund has been established. Mr.

Mink was born May 2, 1905, in Floyd County, the son of Marshal and Cora Moody Mink. He married Bessie Lou Isom April 4 4, 1922. She died July 3, 1984. He was the West Coast service representative for the American Machine and Metal Company, retiring in 1970. He then worked as a security guard at Illini Hospital, retiring in 1985.

In earlier years, he had worked for the Illinois state police. Survivors include sons, Newell Mink, Silvis, Bill Mink, Camanche, Iowa, and Bobby Mink, Moline; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandsons; and two greatgreat-grandsons. August Campagna August Campagna August J. Campagna, 79, of 146 11th Silvis, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 1993, at Trinity Medical Center, East Campus, Moline.

Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Homewood Evangelical Free Church, Moline, where he was a member. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gar- dens, Silvis, with military honors conducted by Moline American Legion Post 246, where he was a member. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis.

Memorials may be made to the church or a favorite charity. Mr. Campagna was born Aug. 17, 1914, in East Moline, the son of Joseph and Maria Sparcio Campagna. He married Mary Alice Miller Nov.

7, 1972, in Springfield. She died in 1990. He was employed at the former East Moline Mental Health Center, Flamingo Restaurant, Carbon Cliff; and Rock Island Railroad dormitory, Silvis. He served in the Army for more than 21 years, retiring in 1962 as first sergeant. He was a veteran of World War II, the Korean War and Vietnam.

Survivors include a sister, Catherine Spies, Buffalo, Iowa; brothers, Tom, Mike and Tony Campagna, all of East Moline, Joseph Silvis, and Frank Campagna, Hot Springs Village, nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Georgia Bird, East Moline. Doris Shaffer Doris Shaffer, 59, of 4034 East Moline, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 1993, at St. Luke's Hospital, Davenport. Arrangements are pending at Van Hoe Funeral Home East Moline.

Phoebe Greenhagen, 91, of 144 S. Junior Kewanee, died Sunday, Nov. 2 21, 1993, at Kewanee Care Nursing Home. Graveside services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Pleasant View Cemetery, Kewanee.

There is no visitation. A memorial fund will be established. Rux Funeral Home, Kewanee, is in charge of the arrangements. The former Phoebe Wilson was born April 1, 1902, in Scofield, Utah, the daughter of John L. and Alice Pitman Wilson.

She April 22, Kewanee. He married Harry, E. Greenhagen died June 6, 1961. Mrs. Greenhagen had owned and operated a candy store in Kewanee.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of LatterDay Saints, Kewanee. Survivors include a foster daughter and husband, Phoebe Ann and Clarence. Armstrong, San Luis Obispo, five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Ronald Selsor Services for Ronald Ernest Selsor 53, of 212 Magnolia, Hannibal, formerly of Moline and Mercer County, are 10 a.m. Tuesday at James O'Donnell Funeral Home, Hannibal.

Burial is in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hannibal, Visitation is 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. Mr. Selsor died Friday, Nov. 19, 1993, at Aledo Health Care Center.

Reiser-Trimble Funeral Home, Aledo, is in charge of local arrangements. He was born April 13, 1940, in Hannibal, the son of Homer W. and Susie J. Mann Selsor. He was formerly employed by Deere and Moline.

He was an Army veteran serving during peacetime in Korea. Survivors include his mother, Hannibal; a daughter, Stephanie Marie; sons, Ronald E. He was a former member of Rock Island Moose 190. He was a Korean War Navy veteran. He enjoyed fishing and golf. 20, 1993, at St. Francis Hospital, Evanston, Ill. He was born June 24, 1927, in Rock Island, the son of Arthur and Mary Van Veirdeghem DeGrauwe. He was employed as an electrician at Veterans Administration Hospital Westside, Chicago, for 35 years and retired in June 1992. He was a member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars.

He was a Korean War Navy veteran. He was employed as an installer at Glass Specialty Systems, Rock Falls. He enjoyed outdoor activities. He married Doris Joan Richardson Aug. 18, 1973, in Davenport. He farmed in the Maquoketa area for many years. He enjoyed traveling in southern states, reading, hunting and fishing. Survivors include the widow; sisters and a brothe Genevieve Davison, and Gladys and Markel Summers, all of Maquoketa.

Bruce Streitler Bruce Streitler, 66, of 4132 Northwest Davenport, died Friday, Nov. 19, 1993, at Ridgecrest Retirement Village, Davenport. Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Muscatine, Iowa.

Burial is in Greenwood Cemetery, Muscatine. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. today at Riley Funeral Home, Muscatine, with a vigil at 6 p.m. Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Mr. Streitler was born Sept. 4, 1927, in Muscatine, the son of Clarence and Bessie Jones Streitler. He married Helen Luttenegger in 1989 in Muscatine. He graduated from Iowa Wesleyan College, Mount Pleasant.

He was employed in the accounting department at Kreiger Motor Muscatine, retiring in 1989. He had lived in Muscatine until moving to Davenport 18 months ago. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Bettendorf. He was a Korean War veteran. Survivors include the widow.

Clara M. "'Tickle" Christiansen, 82, of 2630 Crow Creek Road, Bettendorf, died Saturday, Nov. 20, 1993, at Bettendorf Health Care Center. Memorial services are 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Runge Mortuary, Davenport.

Private burial is in Davenport Memorial Park. There is no visitation. Memorials may be made to Humane Society, Rock Island, where she was a member, or the American Lung Association. The former Clara Campbell was born Jan. 11, 1911, in Ollie, Iowa, the daughter of Horace and Mabel Campbell.

She married Loyd Christiansen in 1935 in Davenport. He died in 1977. Mrs. Christiansen was a housekeeper for the Warren Wilson family. She was a member of St.

John's Methodist Church; a former member of the P.T.A. and of the Secret Pal Club. She enjoyed her cat and embroidery. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Dot Christiansen, Bettendorf; granddaughters, Ruth Buck, Houston, Texas, and Natalie Christiansen, Galesburg; a sister, Mildren Meyer, Littleton, brothers, Harley "Bud" Campbell, Eugene, and Richard Campbell, Ft. Lauderdale, and a sister-inlaw, Jewel Campbell, Ollie.

Guy Libberton Guy Libberton, 80, of 3705 W. Locust Davenport, died Saturday, Nov. 20, 1993, at Iowa Veterans Home, Marshalltown, Iowa. Private services will be held. There is no visitation.

Weerts Funeral Home, Davenport, is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Libberton was born June 27, 1913, in Mount Carroll, the son of James M. and Elsie M. Smith Libberton.

He married Pauline Gerten Aug. 23, 1933, 1933, in Fulton, Ill. He served in the Navy for 20 years. He formerly owned Guy's Fuel Oil, Clinton, Iowa, retiring in 1968. He was a member of Navy Fleet Reserve Association, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Davenport.

Survivors include the widow; daughters and sons-in-law, Helen and Robert House, Davenport, Ardell and Rex Couchman, Davenport, and Barbara and Marvin Johns, Red Feather Lakes, six grandchildren; and 10 greatgrandchildren. Edgar Meyer Edgar L. Meyer, 78, Summerfield, formerly of Wilton, Iowa, died Thursday, Nov. 18, 1993, at home, after a lengthy illness. There are no local services or visitation.

Laco*ck-Bentley Funeral Home, Wilton, is in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Meyer married Helen Schwien in 1939 in Davenport. He farmed in the Wilton area and was employed by Home Mix and Econo Mix, both of Wilton, for 20 years. Survivors include daughters, Dorothy Brown, Port Richey, and Sandra Gucciardi, New Port Richey, a son, Harold Meyer, Wilton; sisters, Bertha Regennitter, Wilton, and Grace Meyer, Davenport; a brother, Carl Meyer, Moscow, Iowa; eight grandchildren; and 12 greatgrandchildren.
